The nursing team are highly qualified and provide a variety of general and specialist nursing services and are responsible for the management of most chronic disease clinics. They are available 5-days per week via appointment.
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

This department will take care of your medication needs, queries about repeat medication and general prescription enquires.
Our reception team is available to help you with appointments and enquires. They can deal with you face-to face or over the telephone between the hours of 08:00 -18:00 Monday - Friday. All information is treated in absolute confidence. Their job is very demanding so please try and be patient.
The practice has an excellent cleaning team who keep the premises clean and tidy on a daily basis, this is supplied by NIC.
Midwives offer care during pregnancy and after birth to all patients registered with the practice. On registering with the midwife you will be given more information on the roles of the midwife, GP, health visitor and all clinics you will need to attend during your pregnancy.

The district nursing service is provided by the Primary Care Trust and is attached to the practice. Care is provided within a community setting and in-house clinics.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
